OBITUARY

MICHAEL GEORGE HOLLOWAY RIP

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of  Michael George Holloway.

Michael died peacefully on Wednesday 10 December 2025,  fortified by the Sacraments of the Church.

May God grant him eternal rest and may He comfort, strengthen and support his grieving family.

A brilliant Mathematician, he went to Oxford University and later taught at Stuart Bathurst for decades, ecoming Head of the Maths Department.

He built and organized the website for the parish and was a member of various choirs. Michael produced hundreds of photos and information for our parish's anniversary and fully supported all parish functions.

The parish is very grateful for his generous contributions to the life of our parish in all ways.

Michael was received at The Sacred Heart and Holy Souls Church, Tipton, and his Requiem Mass was celebrated on Tuesday 13 January 2026..

May he rest in peace.
